Ucapkan terima kasih kepada Reader's Review!

Malaysia at Random is a collection of facts, figures, quotes and anecdotes on Malaysia. Here you can find an eclectic set of information on this country, from the things we are proud of to the things even most Malaysians did not know of.

Want to know how much is our Prime Minister's salary? Malaysia's most valuable brands? How a man received a phone bill with an incredulous RM 806 trillion charge? A profile of Bentong Kali, the nation's infamous gangster? Then this is your book to read.
As befits its name, this book has no table of contents, and just about anything that has the faintest hint of Malaysian-ness in it is included for a wholesome, unique view on all things Malaysian. Malaysia at Random is a book for Malaysians and foreigners alike, to get a deeper understanding of the little bits and pieces that constitute this (not-so) little nation
Now don't think it's boring like our history textbooks; when I say this book is more interesting than usual, I mean it. If you still don't believe me, access a copy and see for yourself. Get back to me if you still find it utterly incomprehensible yeah (I hope this does not happen).
Here's a little snippet of information I extracted from the book to excite your reading mind:
PAVING THE WAY?
When Francis Light landed on the island of Penang in 1786, on the site of the present Esplanade in George Town, the island was virtually uninhabited and covered with dense vegetation. In order to induce his sepoy forces to undertake the arduous work of clearing the site, Light, as legend has it, loaded a cannon with gold coins and fired it into the surrounding jungle. Before long, sufficient land had been cleared for a settlement, and traders and merchants began to arrive.
Saya baru tempah buku ini di Kedai-Buku. Saya sudah beli, anda bagaimana?
